Paintable acrylic sealant

PENOSIL Painters Acrylic 606 is a paintable acrylic sealant for filling gaps and joints before painting and other decorating works. Its bright white and extra fine texture ensures smooth, perfectly finished, long-lasting surfaces.

Filling cracks and joints with low movement capability (±7.5%).

Sealing porous surfaces such as concrete.

Ensuring smooth surfaces prior to painting and other finishing works.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Cut the tip of the cartridge.
Screw on the nozzle and cut an opening at a 45° angle which is slightly larger than the joint to be sealed.

Place the cartridge onto a sealant gun.
Apply the sealant by keeping an even pressure at the gun trigger and smoothly dragging the nozzle along the joint.

Remove the excess sealant and smoothen the surface with a suitable tool.

TIPS

Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free from any dust, loose particles and oil stains.

Uncured product can be removed with water or PENOSIL Multipurpose Wipes 943. Cured product can be removed mechanically and then with a moist cloth.

To guarantee products longevity, once cured it is recommended to cover it with paint.

Due to the wide variety of construction materials, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test.

Application temperature between +5°C and +40°C.

 

LIMITATIONS

Can not be applied on bitumen or on building materials which contain tar, might bleed oils or plasticizers.

Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.

Not suitable for joints with movement capability of more than 7,5%.

Painting over before the product is fully cured may cause the paint to crack.
